Andy Jenner Photography
From a young age I was always fascinated by nature and photography. I left school with few qualifications and enlisted in the British Army at 16 years old. Five of my seven years in the Royal Signals was spent in Germany. It was in these German forests, whilst dressed in camouflage and moving slowly, that I realised how much closer you could get to wildlife.
After leaving the army, I trained as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer, then ran my own business for 18 years. A diagnosis of Osteoarthritis in my knee and constant pain guided me to a change of career path. At that point I embarked on studying for an Honours Degree with the Open University, graduating in 2020. The degree was predominantly psychology based and taught me a lot about the benefits of nature to mental health.
To compliment my university degree, I completed an Ecotherapy course in 2015 and achieved a Mental Health First Aid certificate in 2019.
Now based in Creuse, France and dressed in my camouflage once more, I aim to bring nature into your homes and onto your screens via my photography. I will also encourage you to experience the wonders of nature for yourselves.
I would love to hear from you, please feel free to get in touch.
